The goal of the Bartók & Kodály concert is to pay a worthy tribute to Zoltán Kodály, Béla Bartók, and the Hungarian folk music tradition, while uniting different musical eras and styles through an innovative crossover approach. Presented by a young composer and outstanding performers, the concert blends authentic folk music, classical music, and contemporary sounds — enriched with folk dance — into a harmonious unity, offering a reinterpretation of the values of Hungarian cultural heritage. What makes the concert unique is that no one has ever combined Hungarian folk music, classical music, and contemporary crossover style in this form. Thanks to its distinctive musical language and artistic concept, the concert can contribute to enhancing Hungary’s cultural prestige and increasing international recognition of our musical heritage. Artists: Simon Kata (soprano), Hrúz Dénes (folk vocals), Dűvő Ensemble (folk music), Oláh Patrik (composer, violin), Kiss Péter (piano), Friderikusz Péter (cello), Nógrád Dance Ensemble (folk dance), Producer: Richard Simon manager
The Freedom Symphony – A Concert for the Victims is a classical music concert and cultural mission presented by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (NSOU). The concert aims to build bridges through the universal language of music and to strengthen the idea of freedom through the power of art. The program features musical works that reflect the resilience of the human spirit, perseverance, and hope, while also placing special emphasis on Ukraine’s cultural heritage. The concert includes the world premiere of “Victim”, a piece composed by Patrik Oláh for this occasion, which portrays the inner emotions of a soldier — from the beginning of the battle to a glorious death. At each concert venue, an accompanying exhibition of drawings by Ukrainian children offers insight into daily life during wartime and how children perceive and experience the conflict. Performers: National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Simon Kata (soprano), Patrik Oláh (composer). In cooperation with: Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary, UNICEF. Organizer: Richard Simon manager
The Sounds of Faith – Harmony in Diversity is a unique musical journey showcasing the spiritual musical traditions of seven major world religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Taoism, Judaism, and traditional African belief systems. Sacred melodies, prayers, and spiritual messages from each religion are performed by singers and musicians representing their respective faiths. Since music is the only truly universal language — one that speaks to everyone regardless of age, religion, or origin — this concert offers not only a musical but also a deeply spiritual experience. It aims to bring people closer together through the voices of faith. The concert concludes with a newly composed piece by composer Patrik Oláh, written especially for this occasion. This final piece symbolizes unity within diversity — showing that faith and music do not divide, but unite. Artists: performers representing each religion, Patrik Oláh (composer). Producer: Richard Simon manager
There are few world-renowned Hungarian composers whose popularity has endured for centuries quite like Franz Liszt. One of his unique works, Les Quatre Éléments (The Four Elements), was performed for the first time ever by the Hungarian National Men’s Choir (Honvéd Male Choir). This composition is particularly fascinating because it can be seen as a precursor to one of Liszt’s most celebrated symphonic poems, Les préludes. Although Liszt intended the piece for orchestra, he never completed the orchestration. As a result, The Four Elements remains a true vocal rarity, featuring virtuosic piano writing and blending the qualities of a piano concerto with vocal music. The program is musically rich and diverse, requiring only one outstanding concert pianist alongside the full choir. The performing ensemble is the Hungarian National Men’s Choir, a globally unique, 45-member professional male choir — the second-largest of its kind in the world. Program: The Four Elements • The Blacksmith • To the Artists • Titan • Hungaria. Performers: Hungarian National Men’s Choir. Organizer: Richard Simon manager
